Easy to install

The first step is to remove the original cover from your key. The original cover needs to be removed before the replacement can be installed.
After you have removed the cover After removing the cover, you can use a flathead to pry the four main attachment clips from the passenger side of fob assembly. These are marked with red on the photo below. Also note the tabs that locate slots, which are yellow, that require disengagement as well.
After removing the battery replace it with a brand new # CR2032 3 Volt coin cell battery. The "+" side of the battery should be facing the fob's opening, and the "side that is "-" side should be facing the rubber buttons.
Reattach the mirror's passenger side cover by aligning the tabs that locate it. After you have completed this, insert the fob that is on the driver's side back in your vehicle and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is working properly the car should turn on the parking lights and your doors will lock automatically.
